A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Advisor your day will involve developing and managing financing solutions for customers globally. You will work with colleagues in Sweden and worldwide. - Structuring financing solutions in early project phase, analyse project structures and support bidding strategies. You will develop your relationship with banks, export credit agencies and international financing institutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating commercial and financial contracts, implementing payment mitigation concepts and enhancing product portfolio. As an advisor you will ensure smooth project execution and contribution to the overall success of Siemens Energy contributing to the energy transition.


How You’ll Make an Impact

• Advising Siemens Energy on all matters related to project and export financing, as well as the structuring of financing solutions and provide recommendations to our business areas
• Support development and implementation of financing bid strategy together with senior colleague as well as identifying, managing, and mitigating payment risk areas arising out of the business
• Contribute in commercial and financial contract negotiation, ensuring favorable payment terms and supporting documents
• Implement payment risk mitigation concepts such as ECA cover, political risk insurance and sale of receivables in line with internal rules and regulations
• Being the interface between Siemens Energy and international financing community, including Export Credit Agencies, commercial banks, and other financial and funding institutions
• Support new ways of finding and develop most suitable and competitive financing solution in the market with new and existing partners
• Support Siemens Energy’s (SE’s) transformation by taking part in development of financing solutions

What You Bring

• An academia degree (e.g. Finance, Legal or Industrial Engineering and Management) or other equivalent professional experience in the Finance space (e.g. Trade, Corporate, Project, Export, Leasing or Risk Management)
• Ability to create trustful interaction with customers, banking community and internal colleagues, as well as others involved in the day-to-day business; ability to collaborate and communicate on management level
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on priorities
• Interest in international financing markets and energy business
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken as you will be expected to work with several interfaces internally and externally, in Sweden and abroad
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive to exceed customers’ needs
