• Experience from a leader role within PR & product/commercial in a retail-focused business?
• A creative and innovative mindset and a lot of curiosity?
• Passion for communication and developing people and the team?
• The ambition to always stay tuned to the latest trends and platforms in social media, and know how to leverage them for PR campaigns/events.
• The capability to both provide strategic direction and also roll up the sleeves and ‘get hands’ on.
• Understanding of the complexity of a global orgaisation and the role of integrated communication.
• Proven strategic capabilities within the area of product/commercial PR.

Do you also bring the following experience from:

• Working with integrated communication in a multichannel landscape and commercial/product PR.
• Leading marketing or communication from a global environment.
• Scouting, procuring, and leading creative partners.
• Leading, coaching and developing a team.

If you have knowledge of IKEA leadership in Life at Home and our product range that is of course a great advantage.

A day in your life with us

You support the growth agenda and help to position the brand through real news around our commercial focus, our range, retail innovation, epic events, radical collaborations and to work as catalysts for creating a constant flow of extraordinary, interesting and purposeful news from IKEA to attract new audiences to IKEA and to get our existing audiences to love us more to and drive visitation .

In the role of Commercial PR Manager, you will Lead, develop, and implement a commercial PR plan as an integrated part of the global communication plan. You will lead a team of three Commercial PR Leaders. You will secure a strong foundation for the team with clear roles & responsibilities, goals, ways of working, resourcing, budget, and overall strong performance management.

To be concrete you will:

• Lead the Commercial PR strategy and execution in close cooperation with stakeholders, partners, and the Commercial PR matrix in all Ingka countries.
• Develop PR plans/ideas for all commercial events/activities to create a buzz about Life at Home and our range & home furnishing solutions.
• Build strong relationships with key media, influencers, and important stakeholders to increase trust and boost visitation to IKEA.

This role is a permanent position located in Malmö and you will report to Ingkas Integrated Communication Manager David Affentranger. Since we believe the magic happens when we are together we spend the majority of our time in our office Hubhult, Malmö. We offer mobility relocation support for this role.
