Svea Solar is on a mission to end the use of fossil fuels. Our installations to date have helped avoid CO2 emissions equivalent to the electricity use of 1,400,000 households for an entire year. As we continue our journey towards a sustainable future and drive innovation in the energy field, we are now looking for a new dedicated Legal Counsel to join our dynamic Legal team. In this role you will be a strategic partner to various parts of the business with a main focus on commercial contracts, tech and privacy/compliance matters. You will be part of developing the Legal function and be reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer Michaela Cronemyr. Based on interests and skills, you will have the chance to take ownership of your own projects and tailor your role even further.

Examples of what the role can include:
- Supporting and improving of our commercial agreements, e.g., supplier agreements and strategic collaboration agreements, software license agreements as well as other types of agreements
- Developing our customer offering together with the commercial team by advising on legal aspects, such as contract law and consumer legislation
- Work with corporate governance, financing and other corporate matters
- Giving advice on legal aspects of regulatory compliance, sustainability and GDPR
- Being a strategic legal business partner to internal stakeholders

Developing and scaling the legal function together with the Chief Legal Counsel, including working with AI legal tools

- Nordic law degree
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (mandatory)
- At least a couple of years' experience from working at a reputable law firm or as an inhouse legal counsel at a company
- It is particularly valuable (but not a requirement) with some experience of commercial contracts, such as supplier agreements or perhaps software license agreements
- It is a bonus if you have good knowledge of consumer law and/or GDPR
- Interest and/or experience in using AI tools within the legal field is welcome
