DEVELOP WITH US IN CIVIL
In COWI Sweden, there are three divisions: Civil, Industry & Buildings and Digital & Management. Within Civil, we primarily work in the business areas of Urban Development and Infrastructure, with specialists in areas such as roads, railways, traffic, landscape architecture, geotechnics, water & drainage, BIM, construction management, project management, climate, and sustainability specialists. Projects are planned and implemented with a multidisciplinary perspective in close collaboration across both technical and departmental boundaries. Assignments range from early stages and investigations to design and maintenance.
Civil is located in Malmö, Skövde, Helsingborg, Gothenburg, and Stockholm and has about 350 driven and committed employees. We have a really good community, and the atmosphere is characterized by humility, collaboration, and a familial, open atmosphere where we all work towards common goals with a focus on future sustainable urban development projects.
Your role
You will primarily work to coordinate and develop our road and railway plans and be responsible for their progress and implementation. The role is central in our planning assignments, closely tied to the project management. The work involves close collaboration and dialogue with the client and its external stakeholders, as well as internal collaboration with other technical areas. You will work in national projects across Sweden as well as projects in your local market. You also have the opportunity to act as a project manager or technical manager in other projects depending on your experience and expertise.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is committed, motivated, and communicative. Your expertise is key to our success.
For the position, you need to meet the following criteria:

• You have experience of leading the plan process for rail and/or road projects for Trafikverkets projects.
• You have a good understanding of the Swedish Transport Administration's planning process regarding formal handling and legal matters.
• You have at least five years of relevant work experience and several years of experience in working with road and railway plans.
• You have relevant education in within the civil engineering area, alternatively, you have extensive work experience in the field.
• Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish and able to communicate well in English.
