Job Description:
As a Jira Developer / Atlassian Engineer, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to develop, streamline, and maintain custom Jira solutions. Your expertise in Script Runner and Jira Query Language (JQL) will be essential as you support our client’s mission-critical project management environment. Experience with Jira Software Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Confluence is required, while Ops Genie experience is a valuable plus.

- Custom Development: Design and configure custom workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and notifications within Jira, focusing on Script Runner.
- Automation & Efficiency: Use Script Runner and JQL to automate processes, build custom reports, and create tailored dashboards to optimize performance.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Engage with teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable solutions that support dynamic projects.
- Documentation & Training: Develop comprehensive documentation and deliver training sessions to foster efficient tool usage and adoption.
- Integration Management: Integrate Jira with Confluence, Ops Genie, and other tools to support seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years as a Jira Developer or Atlassian Engineer, with a strong focus on Script Runner and JQL.
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of Jira Software Cloud, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and (ideally) Ops Genie.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail in optimizing workflows and processes.
- Communication: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
