The opportunity
We are looking for a Chief of Staff to support our Financial Services Consulting Leader based in Zurich. The Team around the Chief of Staff is responsible for the day-to-day activities such as executive support, communication, financial management and planning, reporting, people agenda, resource management, senior management deliverables and presentations, as well as support on strategic projects and initiatives

Your key responsibilities

Act as a strategic advisor to the Financial Services Consulting Service Line Leader, shaping the future direction of the Service Line
Lead the strategic planning process and ensure effective decision-making at the highest level
Support the Financials Services Consulting Talent lead by driving the people strategy and other people related initiatives
Oversee the organization and execution of leadership meetings, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Direct the Management Information System reporting processes and strategic communication efforts
Drive operational excellence (OPEX) through process optimization, cost management, and efficiency improvements
Lead the development and coordination of senior management deliverables and strategic initiatives
Spearhead the operational and financial growth strategies of the Service Line
Plan, organize, and oversee high-profile events such as Town Halls and Offsite Meetings
Lead the resource management process, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources

Skills and attributes for success

Extensive professional experience in leadership roles, preferably within a leading financial services institution or business consulting firm
Advanced degree in business, economics, or a related managerial discipline (MBA or equivalent)
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
A proven track record of reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
Demonstrated leadership in project management, with the ability to navigate complex tasks and prioritize competing demands effectively
Comprehensive experience with management reporting, data analysis, and strategic interpretation
Established relationships with key stakeholders and the ability to influence at all levels within and beyond the Service Line
A strategic problem solver with a passion for tackling challenges, self-motivation, and a proactive, hands-on approach
Comfortable leading in dynamic environments with evolving priorities
Superior written and verbal communication skills, including advanced presentation, messaging, and Power Point expertise
Fluency in German and a high level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken
