Tasks

• KYC/KYB & Ongoing Monitoring: Assist in conducting customer due diligence for individuals and businesses, including screening for PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons) and Adverse Media.
• Investigations Support: Support compliance investigations related to suspicious activities and potential regulatory breaches.
• Sanctions Checks: Help implement and manage sanctions screening processes to ensure compliance with international regulations.
• Transaction Monitoring: Use tools like Chainalysis under guidance to monitor and analyze transactions for potential AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter-Terrorist Financing) risks.
• Process Improvement: Participate in reviewing and enhancing compliance processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Legal Documentation: Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents such as NDAs, Supplemental Agreements, and other compliance-related materials.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by organizing documentation and preparing necessary reports.
• Regulatory Compliance Support: Stay informed about regulatory changes and assist the compliance team in implementing necessary updates.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and ensure data integrity. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Compliance Officers in Switzerland and the EU to support various compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in compliance, finance, or related fields. Internships and relevant academic projects are welcomed.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of German, French or Italian is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with compliance software and tools like Chainalysis is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Integrity: High ethical standards with a commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Eager to Learn: Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally. Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
