We need IT Engineer with Data Center Expertise
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Candidate needs to have Data Centre or Patching Frame experience.
Tech needs to go through interview, then a badge will be issued for him and work will be by schedule.
We still do not know how much work, but once in place it will be regular, i.e., 1 full day every week, or 2 days, and/ or half day, etc.
Scope: The key skill sets for our requirements are:
· Data Centre Experience essential.
· Infrastructure routing/patching planning experience.
· Cabling installation/decommissioning of cables (fibre/copper) experience.
· Cabling troubleshooting skills (ability to test copper/fibre) experience.
· Racking and Stacking of Servers in data cabinets. Installing and decommissioning.
· Break fix ability to replace certain parts in servers under incident ticket.
Candidate needs to have Data Centre or Patching Frame experience. Below are the Level skillsets we ideally need.
· Installation, Moves, Adds and Deletions (IMACD)
of Technology Space Network and Server Hardware.
· Troubleshoot, operate and maintain equipment during field dispatches.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Can handle low complexity installs, moves, repairs, uninstalls, site survey, triage, vendor escort, rack and stack equipment, install/swap out network equipment including switches and routers.
· Can read blueprints and drawings. Install, terminate, label and test cabling related to telecom circuit demarcation extensions.
· Perform the work in a professional manner.
· Ability to place, connect and activate telephone devices.
· 2-5 years’ experience.
· Able to life equipment weighing over 75 lbs.
Rates
Hourly: 40 USD
Half day:140 USD
Full day:240 USD
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: CHF200.00 - CHF220.00 per day
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
