Electronics Engineer in Tech Support

Project:
For our client Roche Diagnostics International AG, based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer
Background:
The Tech Support department (DODRL) is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer with a focus on measurement technology. This role involves developing test systems to ensure the functionality of Roche's diagnostic instruments. It straddles the fields of plant engineering and R&D, with many components sourced from suppliers.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Create concepts and specifications based on requirements.
Evaluate feasibility and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
Define test and measurement equipment; establish calibration requirements.
Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, parts lists, and PCBs.
Purchase components; set up and wire electronic racks.
Conduct functional tests of systems.
Collaborate on CE certification of test systems; assess risks and create necessary documentation.
Support qualification and validation processes.
Troubleshoot test systems in production and at supplier locations.
Commission test systems at suppliers as needed.

Must Haves:

Completed engineering studies (FH/HF) in electrical engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electronics and measurement technology.
Strong knowledge of sensor technology (temperature, pressure, flow, and force measurement methods).
Experience in circuit or plant engineering.
Practical experience in PCB development.
Proficient with standard Office programs.
Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English.
Team player with a collaborative spirit.
Independent, resilient, and open to new ideas.
Structured working style with strong analytical skills.
Interest in interdisciplinary problems.

Nice to Haves:

Knowledge of SAP.
Familiarity with PLC, Python, and/or Lab VIEW.
