About the role


Sygnum is hiring a Front Risk Manager to support us in providing regulated digital asset banking to our growing customer base.
The responsibilities include:

• Perform 1Lo D controls according to the applicable control plan in particular in the areas of cross border, AML/KYC and manage related follow-up measures.
• Support the setup, operation and maintenance of an effective and efficient front business risk management framework. Contribute to designing and formalizing relevant front controls
• Participate in and/or lead projects and initiatives aiming at the improvement of front office processes and/or compliance processes
• Act as advisor for the front office in complex regulatory matters
• Prepare and roll out front training, education and communication measures from a risk management and compliance perspective
• Act as a coordinator between the front and the second line of defense function

Our ideal candidate


We are looking for a dynamic and driven person with the following qualifications:

• A University degree in Banking, Compliance, Law, Risk Management or Business Administration
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in Front Risk Management, Business Support, Compliance, Legal or Audit, preferably with some digital asset knowledge
• Ability to work independently and accurately with a problem solving mindset
• Willingness to take responsibility and ownership of projects
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player and high level of flexibility and adaptability to changes.
• Excellent communication skills across different stakeholder groups
• Proficient in English
