General Ledger Assistant (Maternity Cover) (Geneva - Switzerland)

• Participate in annual and interim closings: Prepare and review closing entries, conduct analyses, and perform consistency checks to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Perform ad hoc accounting processes: Support specific projects related to accounting transformation, such as improving data quality and automating repetitive tasks.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts: Ensure accuracy in general ledger account balances through regular reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.
• Record closing entries: Prepare, document, and post all necessary entries for month-end and year-end closings in compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage daily accounting entries: Handle daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, adjustments, and accruals, to maintain up-to-date financial records

• Degree in accounting
• Maximum 5 years of accounting experience ideally in an international environment
• Knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations and/or French accounting standards
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Sage X3 is a strong asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven experience with closing processes and reconciliation
• Proactive and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration skills across departments
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
