To strengthen our international team in Switzerland, which is also active in Portugal and China, we are looking for a dedicated Head of PMO for IT to lead our projects to success.
Core tasks
- Establishment of an internal IT PMO based on the LEAN-IT philosophy.
- Responsibility for the planning, implementation and monitoring of IT projects within the company
- Ensuring that project targets are met in terms of time, budget and quality
- Leading and motivating the PMO team
- Step-by-step strategic development and implementation of project management standards and methods based on the development stages of Lean IT maturity
- Coordination of the introduction of an ERP system in the production environment
- Application and promotion of the Lean IT philosophy to optimise processes and reduce waste
- Communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders, including management, departments and external partners
- Identification and management of project risks
- Continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field
- Several years of experience in project management, ideally in the IT sector
- Successful implementation of IT projects, preferably in the introduction of ERP systems in production companies
- Sound knowledge of project management methods (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, Agile)
- Experience in the application of the Lean IT philosophy for process optimisation is an advantage
- Strong leadership and team skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of local languages (Portuguese, Chinese) would be an advantage
