• Optimization of printing configuration settings to reduce the printing time of metal additive manufacturing machine
• Analysis and process monitoring (L-PBF process) to improve in-process and post-process quality procedures
• Implementation/design of new types of support structures to simply the postprocessing operations
• Design, planning, execution, and assessment of testing and experiments results
• Evaluation of new techniques and methods for AM workflow (from design evaluation to final quality control)
• Support the production team while executing orders for R&D purposes.

• Bachelor/Master Student in mechanical engineering, process engineering, material science or relevant discipline with a basic understanding of production processes, manufacturing technologies and digitalization
• Experience and knowledge in additive manufacturing (any material) is preferable
• Basic knowledge in programming and CAD software (Autodesk Fusion, Netfabb) is beneficial
• Excellent documentation skills are preferable
• High interest in problem-solving and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Full professional proficiency in English (German is a plus)
