Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation by washing and properly storing all dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and equipment.
- Ensure that the kitchen remains tidy and organized by arranging dishware, cookware, and utensils in their designated storage areas.
- Assist the culinary team by cleaning and preparing kitchen equipment and areas, making sure they are ready for use.
- Manage and dispose of kitchen waste according to guidelines, ensuring that recycling, composting, and disposal processes are followed correctly.
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role within a high-end restaurant, hotel, or luxury environment is preferred.
- Strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during peak service hours.
- Knowledge of and adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Travelling extensively across Europe
- European or Swiss passport
- Conversational in English, a basic comprehension of Italian and French
