Your role
Join us in an engaged and mission-critical role as a Network Operations Team lead in the Swiss Network Operations team responsible for day-to-day management and service oversight of the banks network. As the Team Lead for the Network Operations Center, you will play a critical role in managing one of our NOC teams, ensuring 24/7 network monitoring, incident management, and the highest levels of operational excellence. You will lead a talented team of network professionals to maintain the stability, performance, and security of our global network infrastructure. We do offer a strategic opportunity to work closely with IT (Information Technology) leadership and a large variety of stakeholders to make a real impact regarding production stability, continuous service improvement and best practice sharing across the environment.
  • lead, mentor, and manage the NOC team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and a high level of team performance
  • oversee 24/7 network monitoring, proactively identifying potential issues and ensuring rapid incident response and resolution
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Security, and Infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and continuous service improvements
  • develop and maintain operational processes, procedures, and documentation, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and compliance standards
  • ensure timely and accurate reporting of network performance, incidents, and operational metrics to senior management
  • manage escalations and provide leadership during major incidents, including coordinating communication with stakeholders and post-incident analysis
  • continuously assess the NOC’s tools, systems, and processes, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
  • foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
Your team
You’ll be working in the Swiss Network Operation Center (NOC) based in Zurich, directly reporting into the Head of Network Operations Switzerland. We are a familiar team with big ambitions working in a fast-paced network environment. Your future colleagues are coming from diverse backgrounds such as Network Security. Routing, Switching, Load balancing and more.
Your expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in network operations, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within the financial services sector
  • strong knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, etc.)
  • hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and incident management processes
  • demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment
  • excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • familiarity with ITIL frameworks and other industry best practices for service management
