New Opportunity: Accountant (German & English) - Real Estate, Zurich
Our client, a prominent Swiss real estate company, is looking for an experienced and motivated Accountant specialized in Real Estate to join their team in Zurich. Your Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and maintain financial and property accounts for multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP (OR).
• Oversee VAT returns with support from the team.
• Process and manage annual service charge reconciliations efficiently.
• Assist in cash flow management to support financial stability.
• Collaborate on special finance and accounting projects that add value to the organization.
• Maintain and organize financial documents for proper record-keeping.
• Act as the main point of contact for property managers and coordinate with external accountants.

Your Profile:

• Completed certification as an accounting specialist with relevant experience, or a Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting (or currently in training).
• Experience in Real Estate is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of accounting practices and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Analytical thinker with a structured, detail-oriented, and independent working style.
• A proactive, resilient team player with excellent communication skills.
• Native-level German proficiency and excellent English skills.
• Working already in Switzerland
