• 3D and 2D mechanical CAD design of turbocharger parts and assemblies using CATIA V6 / 3DX
• Development of new turbocharger casings, bearings and rotor components for high-speed turbochargers as part of interdisciplinary teams in a global setup
• Optimize part design with respect to cost targets, technical and supply chain quality requirements (design for manufacturing) together with our global supply chain organization
• Responsible for creation, maintenance and quality assurance of technical product documentation in the product lifecycle management (PLM) system, such as drawings, 3D geometry data and technical specifications
• Collaborate with our core component development group to integrate new compressor and turbine stages into a turbocharger product

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (FH) in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience in 3D CAD design and technical drawing creation, ideally with CATIA V5/V6
• Strong quality mindset and thorough style of working
• High degree of self-management capability
• Good written and spoken command of both German and English (B2 level)
• Basic experience in project/work package management or engineering change management processes is an advantage
• Know-how in applied engineering statistics or six sigma quality methods is an additional asset
