Records & Archive Administrator (m/f/d)

Our client, a leading international player in the financial sector with modern offices in the Basel area, is looking for a Records and Archive Administrator (m/f/d) with a background in records management to manage customers' expectations and service deliverables, in a temporary assignment for 4 months to start immediately.
In this position there will be a strong possibility of an extension depending on the candidate's performance.
Job Description
In this position the Records & Archive Administrator (m/f/d) will be responsible cataloguing and reconditioning the paper-based archive collection through office collaboration tools and electronic document management systems, by carrying out the following task areas:
- Organizes and catalogues our client's important paper-based archive collections following established archival standards.
- Restores and prepares paper files for long-term preservation based on agreed guidelines.
- Inputs catalogue details, descriptions, and location data into the BIS's digital archive system.
- Assists with handling requests from internal and external researchers for access to archival records.
- Helps create a searchable database of historical topics and information for managing inquiries.
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should have:
- Successfully completed bachelor's and/or master's degree within business administration or information management
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in a data related role, information management and office collaboration systems (Microsoft 365)
- Experienced in working with restricted and confidential information within regulated environments
- Experienced in working with virtual communities from different cultural backgrounds and within a dynamic and face-paced environment
- Solid English skills, good German or French skills would be an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
