Position Summary

We are seeking a Back End Engineer passionate about functional programming, particularly in Clojure, to contribute to our unique ERP solutions. This role is not just about coding; it's about taking ownership of features, coordinating with front end developers and project managers, and being an essential part of bringing projects to life.
Our technology stack includes Clojure for back end, React & Type Script for front end, and Postgre SQL for database management. We encourage our employees to take initiative, contributing significantly to end-to-end processes and making impactful decisions.
Requirements

General Requirements

• Eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA Nationals or Permit B holders).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable back end services in Clojure.
• Drive feature development, bringing together necessary parties, including front end developers and project managers.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring effective collaboration and integration.
• Contribute to system architecture and design, adhering to best practices.
• Engage in code reviews and foster a culture of quality and innovation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in functional programming, Lisp dialects preferred (Clojure is a big plus).
• Proficiency in SQL, with a focus on Postgre SQL.
• Experience with system architecture and design.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, Terraform, and AWS.
• Experience in Graph QL API development and integration.
