You will shape regional communications in alignment with business priorities, global communications, and local needs. The focus will be on external communications.


You will develop and implement regional communications activities in a variety of online and offline media to support the business by ensuring that the company’s messages are consistent and clearly understood, and the organization as well as its products are effectively presented and promoted. Further, you will actively shape Novelis` image as a frontrunner in sustainability and true ambassador for circularity by creating authentic, innovative, and thought-leading contents as well as by activating communities inside the company and in public.

• You will handle external communication activities, write and distribute regional press releases, other communication activities, manage media relations and social media presence.
• You will facilitate media interviews for executives, prepare content and support media training.
• Monitor & report on media coverage, staying on top of trends.
• Advise and coordinate speaking engagements for the NE senior leadership team; develop speeches and presentations.
• Develop and produce innovative and engaging content that positions us as a leader in sustainability and circularity.
• Prepare strategic content in an integrated way; know all corporate communication channels, master digital channels.
• Contribute to engaging content of the company’s internal communications channels and tools to activate ambassadors.
• You will be a point of contact for media during crises, help draft statements, and support the crisis communications team.
• Oversee event communication strategies and support event teams as needed.
• Contribute to internal communications to activate ambassadors within the company.
• Oversee event communication concepts and guarantee consistency of messages & tonality.

• Outstanding relationship building skills. Ability to integrate quickly into new teams and organizations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, additional good knowledge of German and further languages is an advantage.
• Highly adept at translating complex and technical information into relevant messages and formats for multiple target groups.
• Passion for creative storytelling and new ideas.
• Strong knowledge and experience of different communication channels and tools.
• Strong organizational and project management skills. Experience in the organization of events is an advantage.
• Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business environment.
• Proven working experience with cross-functional teams and varied internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, hands-on mentality and team player.
• Occasional travelling, mainly within Europe.
