Senior Construction Project Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee service providers, suppliers, work steps, and material flows.
- Manage owned works, coordinating with EPCM (Mechanical, Electrical, Ductwork).
- Lead external planning and construction teams outside EPCM scope.
- Ensure efficient site organization and facility management with EPCM.
- Ensure construction meets specifications, regulations, and standards.
- Coordinate with other Construction Managers to assess project impacts.
- Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers.
- Coordinate equipment logistics with suppliers, EPCM, and logistics teams.
- Continuously improve Construction and Health & Safety Plans with EPCM.
- Generate weekly reports and work lookaheads with EPCM.
- Achieve project goals for cost, timeline, quality, and safety.
- Maintain knowledge of Lonza standards for ongoing site reviews.
- Oversee 3D BIM coordination to resolve clashes and verify installations.
- Inspect material quality and technical, construction, and design standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong experience managing large industrial and pharmaceutical construction projects (GMP/ISO 8 cleanrooms).
- Proficient in Navisworks (BIM) and project scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
- Knowledge of clean and black utilities in biopharma.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent German and English language, written and verbal communication skills.
