In this new position, you are contributing to the next generation of Process Automation devices. This work is a cornerstone of the realization of the GF Piping Systems Process Automation Strategy 2025. As an R&D Standard & Approvals Manager, you will play an important role in the internal activities of GF Piping Systems by ensuring the application of the correct norms and standards. You will be the responsible person from setting up the corresponding requirements over obtaining the approvals to ensuring necessary reapprovals in time. With your proactive attitude, you will work with an internal and external partner network on a global scale.

Actively support colleagues from development in applying the requirements of the standard correctly and in uncovering gaps and risks

Responsible for standards and approvals for sensors, valve drives and transmitters in process automation

Work out global approval- and conformity concepts

Create submission documents and carry out the approval projects independently

Drive necessary re-certifications

Proactively build and maintain close partnerships with partners and government agencies around the world

Collaborate with internal and external bodies and partners worldwide

Keep your knowledge of applicable standards up to date with the help of specialist literature

A Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 3 years of practical experience in the development of electrical products for the process industry or similar

Experience with in an Standard & Approvals, role ideally in the sensors-, measurement- or process automation industry

Good experience with c ULus and CE

Ideally additional experience with NSF, KTW, UKCA, ATEX, CSA, EC1935, 3A, EHEDG, metrological approvals, marine approvals or function approvals

Ideally further experience with IEC 62443 or IEC 61508

Good knowledge of German and English

Permission to work in Switzerland (at least an EU citizenship or already a work permit for Switzerland is needed)
