JOB SUMMARY:
As a Strategic Initiatives Senior Manager at Ascent Health Services, you will lead the evaluation of business opportunities and manage the execution of key projects. Your work will contribute directly to achieving company objectives and delivering long-term value for Ascent and its participants. In this role, you will manage a team of Business Development Analysts and collaborate with multiple departments to drive results.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

• Evaluate Business Opportunities: Work closely with leadership to assess and prioritize new growth opportunities
• Lead Strategic Projects: Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, including bid preparation, contract negotiations, and participant onboarding
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the organization, including finance, legal, and product teams, to identify risks and opportunities and drive project success
• Project Management: Ensure timely and efficient project delivery, tracking KPIs and maintaining accountability within the team
• Engage with Key Stakeholders: Foster relationships with strategic partners, including senior leaders at pharmaceutical companies and other major stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
• 5-8 years of experience in a related field, with 1-2 years of management experience, including direct reports
• Strong project management and product development expertise, with a background in contract negotiations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to senior leadership
• A deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and market trends, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
