Structural Engineer (Composites Specialist)

Responsibilities:
-
Lead sub-projects involving composite structural engineering tasks, working autonomously on aspects ranging from design concepts to testing.
Prepare risk assessments and technical concepts for new composite structures, including considerations for manufacturability and sustainability.
Perform detailed structural analysis on composite components, adhering to aerospace industry standards.
Develop detailed documentation for design reviews, test plans, and technical assessments.
Prepare data for testing analysis, helping to verify the structural integrity and performance of composite components.
Desired Qualifications:
-
Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in structural analysis on composite aircraft structures
Fluency in English
Fluency in German (advantage)
Knowledge of NASTRAN, FEMAP, or ABAQUS (advantage)
