As a Transportation Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing & managing our international transportation operations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the efficient movement of goods across borders while minimizing costs and maximizing service levels.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the day-to-day execution of cross-border logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries. Collaborate with customs brokers to ensure compliance with international regulations and documentation requirements
Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, warehousing, and customer service, to streamline cross-border operations
Monitor carrier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Track carrier costs meticulously, and assess the justification of expenses, including supplier claims
Continuously analyse transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
Offer valuable analysis and insights for projects like freight forwarder tenders, contributing to informed decision-making

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field of logistics is advantageous
Excellent oral and written skills in English. German is a plus
Strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in using MS Office applications, and familiarity with Power Bi is an additional advantage
