We are looking for an Underwriter, Cyber based in Wallisellen.

Your Team
With years of experience in cyber insurance, Allianz Commercial is at the forefront of protecting businesses from the ever-evolving landscape of cybercrime and digital threats. Our extensive expertise allows us to offer a wide range of cyber insurance products tailored to your specific needs.

At the heart of our cyber insurance services is the Allianz Cyber Centre of Competence. This dedicated center is an integral part of Allianz Commercial and serves as a hub for coordinating and aligning cyber risk and underwriting across the Allianz Group. This ensures that our corporate and commercial insurance segments benefit from the collective knowledge and insights of our experts.

The Impact You Will Have
Based in Switzerland and reporting to the regional Cyber Head for Germany and Switzerland, you will work closely with clients and brokers to develop personalized solutions as well as develop new relationships. You will be responsible for underwriting profitable new and renewal businesses to meet Cyber targets regionally including global elements. Your responsibilities also include negotiating participation, pricing, and terms & conditions, acquiring new business, and retaining existing business.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Underwrite in line with the Cyber governance framework - e.g. Underwriting Authorities, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules, and Principles
• Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at the time of inception
• Train, develop, and coach less experienced colleagues
• Create and maintain positive relationships with key producers clients and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. risk managers)
• Ensure accurate policy documentation is issued to producers (where it is Allianz Commercial's responsibility to do so) or producers have issued documentation (where producer's responsibility).

What You'll Bring to the Role

• Solid experience as an Underwriter, Broker, or relevant equivalent in the Cyber sector
• Experience underwriting profitable business in the Cyber segment of large corporate international insurance
• Recognised relationships with clients and brokers at the peer group level.
• Specialised understanding of regional/local Cyber insurance markets and competitor landscape
• Capable of leveraging data and analytics to make business more efficient and effective
• Good understanding of the legal and regulatory framework
• Ability to design, develop, and implement consistent, robust wordings for contracts.
• Fluent German and English language skills
