Job Description:
Account Managers at Channel Bakers are the beating hearts of our account teams. You are the glue that holds everything together as you oversee the day to day running of client accounts and ensure that all strategy is executed on time and to budget.
As a seasoned Account Manager, you will have the confidence and competence to support a range of diverse clients from new to market right through to more the more strategic complex clients/brands.
You are a strong communicator, taking the lead on day-to-day client interactions and seamlessly sharing information and data to the Account Executive and Advertising Specialists. With acute attention to detail, you oversee, and track click credits, budget pacing, customer deliverables and take any ad hoc client requests in your stride. You are a guru on all things related to Search Strategy and Demand Side Platform (DSP) and utilize this knowledge to leverage optimum campaign outputs for our clients.
As the right hand to the Account Executive, you support them with strategic client communication, quarterly business reviews, presentations and developing media plans. Supporting the Advertising Specialist, you ensure that they are set up for success with all their daily tasks which include building & optimizing campaigns, keyword development and developing Calls to Action. You clearly and comfortably delegate both routine and important tasks and provide help and direction as required.
You can communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles and can get messages across that have the desired effect. You make good decisions based on a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgement and are often sought out by others for advice or solutions. You enjoy working hard, are action oriented and are full of energy for things you see as challenging. You value time and know how to use it effectively to optimize your own efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of Marketing or Advertising account management experience in a fast moving, client facing environment
Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Business or Communications preferred or equivalent work experience
Business fluency in English and Japanese essential
Experience of Amazon Advertising and exposure to Demand Side Platform (DSP) a bonus.
Experience of working within a high performing team
Strong analytical and qualitative skills - numbers don’t scare you!
Proficient user of standard office software (MS Office etc).
Intermediate or advanced excel skills are an advantage.
Proven ability to cultivate and foster new relationships and deepen existing ones
Proven track history of driving your own professional and personal development
Everyday Tasks:
Communicate regularly with clients via calls, email and in person meetings to update on campaigns and discuss campaign actions and activities.
Oversee budget pacing & management, click credits tracking, launching campaigns, optimizing rulesets and all DSP activity
Prepare reports and analyze data and insights
Carry out brand and product research
Support the Strategic Account Director or Executive with strategic client needs.
Support Advertising Specialists to ensure their tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain strong and productive working relationships with Amazon pertaining to client growth, budget and strategy, client management, etc.
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally within Channel Bakers and with key stakeholders
Essential Job Functions:
The Employee is required to stand, walk, bend, uses hand to handle or feel objects, or tools, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear for extended periods of time.
This job operates in an office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment.
Frequently standing/sitting/walking up to 8 hours per day

Occasionally lifting between 5 – 50 lbs.
Occasionally climbing/crouching/crawling
Occasional exposure to fumes
Moderate noise level
