Summary:
A web copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling, persuasive, and clear text for websites and online platforms, and should have excellent writing and editing skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing and SEO, and the ability to adapt their writing style to different audiences and platforms in traditional Chinese.
Key responsibilities:
1. Research and Analysis:
Conducting thorough research on industry-related topics.
Analyzing competitors' content to identify gaps and opportunities.
2. Content Creation:
Writing clear, concise, and compelling content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, whitepapers, webinars, script writing, press releases, and other digital platforms.
3. SEO Optimization:
Incorporating relevant keywords naturally into the content.
Optimizing headlines, meta descriptions, and keywords for search engines.
4. Editing and Proofreading:
Reviewing and revising content for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
6. Audience Engagement:
Understanding the target audience and tailoring content to meet their needs and preferences.
7. Brand and Compliance:
Adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring content aligns with the brand’s voice and style.
Ensuring compliance with copyright laws and industry regulations.
Requirements:
3-5 years of proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role in marketing or communications in Taiwan
Excellent in English communication both writing and speaking
Native Traditional Chinese
Bachelor of Communications, Mass Media, and any other relevant disciplines
Exceptional time management skills and a proactive nature
Strong research and analytical skills
Ability to accept and implement constructive feedback to improve content quality
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Proficiency in SEO best practices
Availability to work on a flexible schedule as needed
NOTE about this job:
1. This is a freelance contract based on a remote setting, we don't have any plan to offer you a full-time position for this role
2. Only experienced and relevant freelancers will be proceeding forward
3. Project length: 2-3 months
4. Willing to join our daily operations for 3-4 hours per day
