Description and Requirements
Position Description
Lenovo is looking for a Procurement Operation professional to join the ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group). This role offers extensive exposure to our supply chain processes, opportunities for networking with senior management, and development of both soft skills and career planning. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the strategic procurement initiatives and operation optimizations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lenovo is looking for a Procurement Operation professional to join the ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group). This role offers extensive exposure to our supply chain processes, opportunities for networking with senior management, and development of both soft skills and career planning. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the strategic procurement initiatives and operation optimizations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Coordination: Participate in developing long-term plans that align with company goals. Collaborate with various teams to facilitate idea exchange and support procurement strategies execution.
- Strategic Analysis & Reporting: Conduct strategic analysis, generate reports, and represent to executives. Provide fact-based recommendations that align with the objectives to support business growth.
- Stakeholder Communication: Adapt to shifting priorities and projects, providing solutions that enhance team efficiency. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive project success.
- Digitalization Support: Support digital transformation of procurement processes by developing and managing actionable work plans
- Process Optimization: Lead complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Refine and contribute to Business Management System (BMS) to facility procurement activities and monitor performance across various commodities teams.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct research on relevant markets, including revenue, volume, trends, and competitive landscapes. Monitor and interlock with Market Intelligence contact to understand industry benchmarks to identify competitive advantages and gaps.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
- Strategic and Critical Thinking: Detail-oriented with the ability to provide clear, actionable insights for leadership.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent collaboration, listening, and influencing abilities. Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and exhibit a proactive approach to exploring opportunities.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation, report writing, and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA from a top institution is preferred. Experience with consulting firms or in strategy roles within multinational tech companies is a plus.
- Executive Support: Experience in supporting executives or high-level management
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Professionalism: Ability to interface effectively with executives, clients, other departments, and suppliers.
- Self-Motivation: Highly motivated, with strong organizational skills and a keen sense of schedule control.
