Business Development & Client Solutions

The Business Development & Client Solutions Manager is responsible for identifying, vetting, and managing external agents, expanding the firm’s network to meet unique client requirements, and coordinating solutions for tasks that the current legal or visa team cannot address due to capacity or expertise. This role supports the sales team in client acquisition and retention, manages client communications, and provides regular updates and reports to ensure smooth and transparent service delivery. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and skilled in relationship-building, with a strong understanding of the firm’s service offerings and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Agent Sourcing & Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new agents and external partners to handle specific client needs.
- Maintain relationships with agents to ensure high standards of service and reliability.
- Negotiate and manage agent contracts, terms, and expectations.
- Client Solutions Development
- Work closely with the legal and visa teams to understand service gaps and develop alternative solutions.
- Provide creative, efficient solutions for client needs that exceed the capacity or expertise of internal teams.
- Sales Team Support
- Assist the sales team in understanding and communicating potential solutions to prospective and current clients.
- Prepare detailed documentation and service proposals to support the sales team in client acquisition.
- Client Communication & Updates
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, updating them on service progress, any challenges, and timelines.
- Communicate regularly with clients to manage expectations and address inquiries.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Provide regular progress and performance reports to internal teams and clients.
- Maintain organized records of agent engagements, client solutions, and communication logs.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify process improvements and streamline workflows, particularly around external agent use.
- Develop and implement protocols for using external agents, ensuring smooth integration with internal services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, client relationship management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of legal, visa, and regulatory services (preferred).
- Proven ability to manage third-party relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in reporting.
