The Head of Original Production is responsible for spearheading We TV Thailand's original content initiatives. This includes developing and executing a robust content strategy based on market insights, competitor analysis, and emerging content trends. The role requires extensive production management experience, strong industry connections, and a focus on delivering high-quality content that resonates with We TV’s target audience.

Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Development:

• Lead the development of original content, ensuring alignment with audience preferences and market trends.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of market, competitors, and global/local content trends to identify opportunities for original programming.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with We TV's brand vision and enhances subscriber growth.

Production Management:

• Oversee the entire production lifecycle, from concept development to post-production, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the production ecosystem, including studios, directors, screenwriters, and talent.
• Ensure high production standards and implement best practices to optimize production workflows.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight:

• Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Track financial performance, ensuring all projects meet ROI expectations and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Collaboration & Leadership:

• Work closely with internal teams (marketing, distribution, sales, etc.) to maximize the reach and impact of original productions.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the production team, fostering a creative and productive working environment.

Innovation & Trend Analysis:

• Keep abreast of the latest trends in digital content, storytelling formats, and production technologies.
• Implement strategies to leverage new formats and platforms to enhance content offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Media Production, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in media production, with a strong track record of delivering successful original content.
• Extensive network within the media and entertainment industry, particularly in production studios, directors, screenwriters, and talent agencies.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with experience in budget management and financial oversight.
• A creative mindset with the ability to balance artistic vision with commercial objectives.
