About the role - you will:

• Collaborate with process teams to develop new materials, designs and/or processes that mitigate degradation mechanisms that results in improved reliability.
• Investigate problem of automated equipment and provide solution and plan.
• Perform Continual improvement of legacy equipment
• Design and provide new tooling / conversion kit of automated equipment for new productions.
• Adopt 6 sigma/DFSS in the tool development phase
• Utilize GD&T, tolerance analysis, FMEA & other simulation tool for design optimization
• Ensure the new equipment is full SOP39 certified
• Deliver the development equipment in time per schedule
• Present the finished design to management and team members for evaluation, test and manufacturing readiness reviews.

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Knowledge of Solid Works, ANSYS, GD&T, Matlab, Lab VIEW, Python, and control system are preferred, but not all required
• Self-motivated, responsible, clear communication skills, and good in logical thinking
• Ability to work well in small teams
• Fluent in English communication, both spoken and written

Your experience includes:

• Design & development of precision high thruput automated assembly equipment and visual inspection machine.
• Knowledge of MCAD, preferred on Solid Works modeling software.
• Six Sigma / DFSS / GD&T / FEA and other simulation study.
• Skills in analyzing complex structures of automation systems.
• Hard Disk Drive manufacturing and Com ET technology are advantages.
