Job Description
We are currently seeking a competent and energetic Accountant with at least 3 years of work experience to be based full-time at our Bangkok office.
An Accountant must demonstrate a high level of professionalism with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask. The candidate must also be able to speak in English and work in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the individual must have solid organizational and computer skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Degree: Bachelor in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

Based: Wattana, Bangkok, Thailand
Responsibilities:
Report to Chief Accountant

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor variances between actual and budgeted financial performance and provide explanations for discrepancies.
• Month-end and Year-end Close: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. analyzing trends, identifying areas for cost savings or revenue generation, and providing insights to management.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits. Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Tax Compliance: Tax planning and compliance activities. Preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and researching tax issues.
• Supervision and Training: Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff. Review their work for accuracy and completeness, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices and recommend changes to internal controls as needed.
• Advisory Role: Serve as a financial advisor to management, offering insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Analyzing investment opportunities, evaluating business performance, and assessing risks.
• Special Projects: Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned by management. System implementations, mergers and acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives requiring financial expertise.

COMPANY GOVERNANCE :Manage compliance and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. annual returns, tax returns etc)
