Thailand Accounting Leader

Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Country Accountant Manager to oversee our financial accounting operations in Thailand
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations, and coordinate with external auditors as required.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
Primary Location: TH-Bangkok
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of local accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Possessing strong people management skills is important.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Having expertise in SAP and Oracle is preferrable
- Experience in transformation projects can also be a nice additional.
