Job Details
A Domain Leader is a client facing, delivery and team leader role, reporting to the Insights Turkey Managing Director.
A Domain Leader drives growth via a “commercial” view of the value of their advice. They excel at knowing how and why to apply our offer to business issues and deliver advice in a way that is significant and actionable for clients. Domain Leader capabilities extend beyond knowledge of products and research processes to expertise in the application of results and insight in a client environment. A Domain Guide delivers return on investment to clients and our collective domain expertise is recognised and sought after in market.
Domain Leaders are on the frontline of building Kantar operating brand equity and in showcasing our expertise to clients/industries. They demonstrate thought leadership showing how business outcomes are achieved via our offer and provide input into global offer development.
The person in this role sets the behavioural agenda for their domain team, leading by example and both sharing and reinforcing standard process to ensure a continuous improvement in client return on investment.
Domain Leads are key members of the Offer team in country, as well as interacting with the Global Domain Leads and Domain Leaders in other markets.

Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Key Activities
The key financial metrics for Brand Domain Lead will include:
  • Country Domain Revenue: financial target and year on year growth
  • Country OP: margin and year on year growth
  • Country efficiency metrics
  • Performance: absolute and year on year improvement; post project feedback – KCSS and Vantage
  • People development: Mentor, rollout and support of domain expertise learning framework - KES

Key Accountabilities, which drive the required outcomes, include:
  • Deliver value and impact to clients through the application of domain expertise
  • Seen by the client as a guide in the field – by using knowledge of philosophies and POV to land advice given to the client, putting the advice in context and providing clear recommendations and return on investment
  • Increased commercial competence and accountability within domain and broader teams
  • Demonstrable contribution to the continued development of the Insights and wider Kantar offer
  • Demonstrable contribution to a significant increase in revenue through the application of expertise
  • Lead internal learning and actively contribute to sharing forums

Key activities and behaviours, which support the role’s accountabilities, include:
  • Proactively work with Client Leaders to engage senior contacts within clients (including outside insights functions), seeking to understand client issues by asking the right people the right questions, and applying expertise to provide solutions and deliver value to the client and to Kantar
  • Review of our impact - at least top 5 projects each month – and share learning
  • Challenge clients and internal teams to elevate domain conversation in order to add higher level of return to the client
  • Championing the commercial application of the core Insights (& Kantar) solutions relevant to the domain. Must be aware of the broader Kantar portfolio, so can connect adjacent domains and recommend other solutions for efficient impact
  • Continuously feeding back to other internal guides (+client leads, product development and solutions teams) on client issues. The feedback is aimed at improving tools and our ability to deliver value to clients
  • Partnering with colleagues to share knowledge and fresh thinking to ensure relevance, future focus and innovation across their immediate domain and broader Insights and Kantar portfolio
  • Mentoring individuals and teams to ensure proficient understanding of behaviours, tools, and methodologies and how to apply them to solve client issues and contribute
  • Developing the ability of individuals and teams to engage expertly and credibly, externally with clients and internally with peers, and communicate the advantages delivered through our tools and expertise
  • Encourage and motivate teams through displaying passion for their domain, igniting curiosity and desire to develop skills and fulfil potential
  • Dedicatedly networking within Kantar, building relationships with client leads and other domain guides and seeking out ways to partner and contribute across the client portfolio

Technical Skills and Experience
  • Effecting client outcomes / decisions – including clients outside traditional insights functions
  • Engagement with VP+ level clients to understand issues and convert to business opportunities
  • Building internal networks resulting in the application of expertise
  • Influencing clients to adopt new insights based on Kantar core solutions
  • Having improved the capability of individuals and teams to solve client issues
  • Delivering solutions including multiple data sources
  • Adapting style to respond to a variety of client and market needs
  • Inspiring action in teams, clients and the wider organisation
  • Contributing to white papers, conferences
