- Provides appropriate price offers for all shipment demands from the internal and external customers
- To analyze customer’s needs and expectations and offer suitable solutions.
- To keep customer satisfaction at highest level.
- Provide necessary and on time feed-back to relevant parties to better operations
- Being in contact and visiting sub-contractors and customers
- Increase number of winning bids through accurate & competitive completion of Road Freight estimate requests
- Managing and fully owning RFQ Bids for road freight
- Following the developments, innovative practices, market research of the sector
- Finding, managing and developing alternative road freight sub-contractors
- Following up & keeping & publishing reports based on offers.
- Monitoring /Managing & Development of subcontractors portfolio and process.
- Monitors carrier performance and initiates corrective actions.
- Records and actions of complaints from the operations departments.
- Interacts with Operations, Finance, Sales and other related cross function when required.
- Ensures all work is performed according to approved procedures, SOP's and DHL rules&standards
- Meet and exceed all KPI’s as directed by Road Freight Manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years experience on International Road Freight
- Deep knowledge of road freight forwarding business
- Commercial experience / capabilities
- Good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Good command of MS Office applications.
- Customer focused, excellent team player.
- Strong communication, coordination and organization skills.
- Strong analytical skills and strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong problem – solving mentality
- Rigorous, careful and solution focused
- No military service obligation for male candidates
