SALES & MARKETING - SALES

Main Goal

The purpose of this role is to support the company's development strategy outlined by the Sales Department, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate policy. To facilitate our continuous growth, we are currently seeking a Local Product Promoter (Indeterminate Tomato and Tomato Rootstock) based in Antalya, Turkey.

Job description

Main Responsibilities

Trial organization and evaluation of new introduction
Coordinating the launch of new varieties
To organize the promotional events developed and conducted for the benefit of both direct and indirect clients.
To organize market visits for clients
Managing the range of products and supporting sales actions
Monitoring the market and market trends
Advise and forecast for new varieties

Contributory Activities

To allocate the availability of seed samples of each variety for the development trials within its area & segment.
To carry out and update market research studies (segmentation, analysis of the competition, tracking and identification of the dynamic forces that drive change). To continuously improve the knowledge of the market by type of client with the objective of contributing to the development of business plans and strategic plans.
According to the positioning given by the marketing, to develop the selling points at the local level.
To give the necessary information to the Product Development Manager to establish the forecast (in terms of volume, quality and timelines), for the first year of sales, of the new varieties that are in development phase.
To feedback its manager on specific information before New Product Introduction meetings.

Skills: what we expect of you

Knowledge Required

Technical knowledge in the field and the plant seed business
Expertise in the plant seed market and customers

General Requirements

Bachelor’s degree of Agricultural Engineering Faculties Reputable Universities
With at least 3-5 years of experiences vegetable seed business

Strong communication
Analysis and synthesis skills
IT competencies: Word, Excel, Power Point -> are mandatory
Flexibility, pro-active and able to perform in a multicultural environment

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Car Driven License is mandatory
Able to travel inside and abroad
Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays on occasional basis
