About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operational Site Procurement Manager to join our Project Management Team in Turkey. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the day-to-day procurement operations to ensure the efficient and timely supply of goods and services. You will work closely with Project Managers, Strategical Site Procurement Managers, suppliers, and Project Commercial Managers to ensure effective procurement processes that support site operations and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end operational procurement process, including Purchase Order (PO) creation, management, and closing.

• Utilize SAP and SAP Ariba to manage procurement activities, track orders, and ensure system accuracy.

• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and pricing, ensuring timely deliveries to support site operations.

• Collaborate with Strategical Site Procurement Managers and Project Commercial Managers to align procurement activities with broader project and site goals.

• Follow up on orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure prompt closure of POs upon delivery and verification of goods/services.

• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including POs, invoices, and delivery notes.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgetary controls, and procurement procedures.

• Manage supplier relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and performance quality.

Key Competencies:

• Operational Procurement Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience in operational procurement, including hands-on PO creation and closing.

• Systems Proficiency: Proficient in SAP and SAP Ariba for procurement management.

• Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and verbal).

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve procurement issues quickly and effectively.

• Strong collaboration skill for working with internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in operational procurement or a similar role.

• Advanced knowledge of SAP and SAP Ariba is a must.

• Strong command of English (spoken and written).

• Experience in managing suppliers and procurement activities within an industrial or operational site is preferred.
