Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you are pivotal in ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your work with various departments, such as production, engineering, and compliance, is instrumental in maintaining and enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and ensuring regulatory compliance, thereby enhancing our overall quality and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct quality control activities such as inspections, audits, and product testing to ensure they meet specifications and standards. Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Identify areas for quality improvement and work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions and improvements.
• Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate certification efforts for quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025).
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection plans, quality records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to establish and monitor supplier quality standards.
• Guiding and ensuring proper training and setup are available for the health and safety of the employees and all stakeholders.

Required Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO, SPC)
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, combined with an understanding and interest in process optimization
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in QDMS tools is an asset
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
