Summary of the role

• Orchestrate and monitor software deployments, ensuring they are completed efficiently and with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with development teams to manage build processes and integrate new code into the production environment.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure thorough testing is conducted before releases.
• Work with IT operations to manage infrastructure needs and resolve any issues that arise during deployment.
• Support post-release activities, including monitoring system stability and addressing any issues.
• Maintain a balance between speed, reliability, and quality in software delivery.
• Manage dependencies across diverse teams, mitigating risks associated with deployment, and handling last-minute changes that may disrupt schedules.
• Balance the implementation of new features with the management of technical debt.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain system stability post-release

About Ideal Candidate:

• Good communication skills, enabling clear collaboration across multiple teams.
• Strategic planning abilities to manage complex release schedules and mitigate risks.
• Deep understanding of both technical and business aspects of software deployment.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools, with a particular focus on Jenkins.
• Ability to balance speed, reliability, and quality in software delivery.
• Problem-solving skills to manage dependencies, last-minute changes, and post-release issues.
• A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and aligning releases with business objectives.

Java Software Development Engineer role, you’ll be a member of the R&D Business Unit and global engineering community and find a chance to collaborate in the definition of the strategy of the Software Development; technological framework and functional approach in Agile Environment.
