About the role
Our Food Service Team in Turkey sits as a key strategic growth platform for Kerry Group, significantly impacting our business and helping us deliver our strategy and vision. In this highly visible, step up role where you are responsible for driving the marketing outcomes and deliverables whilst working in tandem with both MENAT and the regional APMEA team.
Key focus areas include the growth and expansion of the core bakery, food and beverage brands including Da Vinci Gourmet, Krater and various sub regional food and beverage brands. Given the growth prospects as well as the dynamics of the specialty coffee/beverage/HORECA market, the candidate must possess a strong enthusiasm and passion for the product arena as well as a deep knowledge of the multiple distribution segments, including specialty coffee, broad line distribution, and convenience store channels.

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager, Foodservice

Key responsibilities
  • Achieve Sales & Budget Targets for the defined area
  • Working with Distributor & Sub distributors for increasing market coverage and effective delivery service to our in-direct customers
  • Managing, leading and assessing of Distributor’s sales representatives to achieve volumes and distribution growth
  • Effectively execute sales and promotion programs to achieve sales targets
  • Provide effective after sales service for continuous sales growth
  • Collecting customer orders, checking and forwarding them to Customer Care
  • Setting customer base sales targets with the Regional Sales Manager, monitoring these targets and ensuring hitting the budget
  • Collecting payments within the area
  • Checking the level and best before dates of the stock at distributors, and taking action to avoid any stock loss.
  • Preparing and sharing the monthly forecast by SKU with Regional Sales Manager.
  • Preparing weekly work programs reflecting the forthcoming week’s targets and the action lists from the previous week’s.
  • Capture competition activities, promotions and pricing trends
  • Strong relation building initiatives and strategy to penetrate new accounts
  • Meeting targets for generating new business by introducing new customers
  • Meeting sales calls & tasting session targets for effective market coverage
  • Business development activities for Branded portfolio across Key accounts & HORECA customers
  • Acting as Sales advisor for DVG in Istanbul and working in collaboration with the other Foodservice sales team on these products


Qualifications and skills
  • 2-3 years’ equivalent sales role experience in foodservice, preferably HORECA channel
  • Strong sales and people skills are a must with the ability to interact on a timely and efficient basis with all levels of customer operations, distributors, R&D, marketing and procurement personnel in addition to internal company structure.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop concepts for customer (Hotels, Bars, Café’s, QSR’s, Entertainment Chains, Bakery Café’s, Restaurants)
  • Selling experience in beverage channel and segments is a must
  • Strong relationships and network with targeted customers
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Knowledge and experience of distribution
  • Strong presentation & customer engagement skills
  • Creative & innovative concept selling approach
  • A valid driving license
  • With computer skills in Microsoft Offices
  • High levels of integrity and honesty & self-initiative
  • Very Strong customer & innovation focus
  • English Language skills are desirable
