Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Start from the concept phase of the project, perform the mechanical engineering activities through all development cycle,
Perform mechanical, thermal designs, necessary static and thermal analyses of electromechanical units developed within the company,
Create and maintain CAD models for electromechanical units, design and develop the necessary test infrastructures,
Build CAD models for COTS units or standard components and create a library of them,
Create manufacturing drawings and determine the right tolerances and production methods to manufacture easily and inexpensively,
Determine the necessary coating, painting, heat treatment processes and describe them in the production documents,
Take part and support to other stakeholders in prototype manufacturing, quality check, etc.,
Take part and support to other stakeholders in planning, preparation, and execution of the functional and environmental tests
Take part in the selection, establishment, and maintenance of CAD infrastructures within the company,
Take part in definition of the mechanical design processes, methods, and tools within the company, creating and documenting libraries and design rules.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from a Mechanical Engineering department,
At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design,
Knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering standards, processes, methods, and tools,
Knowledge and experience in structural design, mechanical analysis, thermal analysis,
Knowledge and experience in structural design of electromechanical units,
Knowledge and experience in environmental testing and standards,
Knowledge and experience in CAD and CAE tools such as Solid Works, CATIA v5, ANSYS, Simcenter,
Knowledge and experience in satellite systems, satellite payloads and related standards,
Very good English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking,
Initiative and proactive to find the best and fastest way to get the right decision.
