General Qualifications and job Description :

• An education bachelor degree or master in related engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in production of circular knitted fabrics by preference in mattress tickingis a must.
• High technical knowledge related to R&D and Knitting is required.
• Experience in a Textile R&D environment is a must.
• You ensure a fluent communication, both written and spoken in English is must.
• You have the required social and dialogue skills to contact technical experts for advice in all R&D related matters.
• Knowledge of quality management, Six Sigma techniques and Project management is a plus.
• You have the required capabilities for fluent cooperation/communication with the BD organization.
• You are prepared to travel.
• You have a data driven mindset, attentiveness, and accuracy in figures.
• You take ownership and respect deadlines.
• You like to take initiatives and are passionate about your work.

• You are responsible for the projects running in the knitting department with the R&D coordinator in terms of planning and progress of the projects.
• You help to drive products, technologies and global processes in R&D Knitting
• You act as the right hand of the R&D knitting Engineer based in HQ in crossteam meetings & collaborate on projects and priorities when required and work together with the HQ R&D teams for the selection of new materials, new equipment and the development of new ideas that are innovations and developments
• Together with the R&D team members, you are responsible for products, technologies and global processes in your Technology Unit
• You will technically work out the projects and initiate new ideas and projects and support R&D feasibility studies into innovative product development.
• You lead the technical execution of the approved work plan & assigned projects within the agreed timing, within the available resources per project and in close co-operation with the local teams.
• You take the lead on the knitting machines related to the assigned developments and innovations.
• Having a mindset for sustainable products and process
• Together with the BDTR operation team be part of the industrial validation of the new product or equipment in the knitting department.
