We are in search of a Lead Java Engineer to become an integral part of our team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in leading a team within a complex technical framework, steering business-focused solutions, and assessing the effects of technical solutions on business processes. This role provides a dynamic environment to foster innovation and professional growth.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team within a complex technical framework
• Investigate the business implications of solutions and assess the effects of technical solutions on business processes
• Facilitate architecture discussions and make low-level decisions
• Participate in architecture discussions and offer technical guidance
• Work collaboratively with backend, AQAs, and performance QA teams
• Actively engage in problem-solving and learning initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of relevant professional background
• 1+ year of relevant leadership background
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Elastic Search
• Deep understanding of analyzers, tokenizers, char/token filters, and relevance tuning in full-text search engines
• Solid knowledge of Java and Microsoft Azure
• Expertise in Spring framework (Core, MVC, Boot)
• Background in microservices architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and application design
• Understanding of clean code principles and practices
• Capability to lead a team of 5 engineers and participate in architecture discussions
• Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities, quick learning capacity
• Effective communication skills in English at a B2+ level
