The vendor landscape is continuously changing to satisfy the growing need of the business to engage subject matter expertise and use IT solutions from vendors. The challenge for information security is to keep oversight and manage the growing risk posture for the organization while using services of the vendors.

We are looking for a Platform Security Consultant for the EU security organization.

The position of platform security consultant is a role within the client’s GSO IT organization and is a key component in supporting the concept of “secure by design.”
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct formal assessments of information security risks related to vendors, determine the potential impact of those risks, and conduct follow-up on any necessary remediation efforts
• Work hand in hand with Dev Ops teams to serve the domain requirements and ISO requirements to practical operational guidelines
• Develop a specialized knowledge of and key relationships with the local brand, ensuring that security is embedded in each brand and that their security needs are being met
• Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for implementing common security solutions or leveraging existing solutions
• Develop strategies and drive efforts to facilitate business ownership of data, including creating/providing necessary tools for identification and tracking of data repositories, training materials, and professional presentations
• Act as the one-stop shop for security-related topics, needs, requirements, guidelines and incidents
• Actively expand consulting and assessment capabilities through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with internal customers

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+years of relevant Information Security experience
• Solid experience in a similar role
• Strong skills with Azure, Azure Security, perimeter network security, ISO/IEC 27001, security assessment methodologies
• Familiarity with security-related legal and regulatory requirements
• Solid communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of data protection methods and the ability to share it
