We’re opening the position of a Report Developer / Data Engineer to work with our Client who is a leading provider of innovative safety solutions for schools and educational institutions. Their mission is to enhance the security and well-being of school communities by delivering cutting-edge technology solutions.

Responsibilities:
Build advanced-level dashboards and reports (using Direct Query/Live Connection)
Design and build data models, conduct data preparation and profiling
Perform the detailed analysis of business problems, building visuals that reflect answers to them
Manage security and administrate the reporting environment (row level, report level, workspace level, etc.)
Participate in architecture and testing processes to ensure they meet best practice specifications

Requirements:
2+ years of practical experience with one of the reporting tools – Power BI (preferably), Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense, Tibco Spotfire, or other
Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Visualization concepts
Skills in developing reports and dashboards
Good understanding of complex DAX, building dynamic measures in Power BI
Understanding of landing, staging area, data cleansing, data profiling, data security, and data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart)
Familiarity with Cloud technologies (preferably Azure)
Ability to work in an Agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban)
Understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:
Production experience with Azure Data Fabric and a background in relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse
