Sales Director

As the CEO, I’ve been driving the company’s rapid expansion, but the next step in our journey requires a strong, experienced Sales Director to take the reins in scaling our sales team.
Our goal is to capture a larger share of the market, and we need a leader who can manage the day-to-day operations, bring innovative sales strategies, and help build a high-performing team that aligns with our ambitious growth objectives.
This role will be pivotal in shaping the future of Under Defense, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a proven track record in B2B sales, and is passionate about leading a team in the fast-paced world of cybersecurity.

- Strong Marketing and SDR/BDR Support: You won’t have to build from scratch. Our marketing and SDR teams are already driving leads efficiently, backed by tested processes that work.
- Hub Spot as Single Point of Truth: We leverage Hub Spot for unified insights and seamless sales operations, giving you clarity to manage the team effectively
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Set and monitor sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics on weekly, monthly and quarterly bases.
- Hiring new high-performing sales team members across US & Europe
- Manage and motivate the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and overseeing all aspects of the sales cycle
- Provide mentorship and coaching sales team on the best sales practices
- Deliver regular reporting, and adjust strategies to achieve measurable results
- Skillfully manage your time between meeting team targets and learning customer pain points, reviewing calls and suggesting improvements, sharing insights with marketing and preparing reporting
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, driving long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and CEO to align sales strategies with broader company goals.
- Continuously improve the sales process from lead generation through deal closure, ensuring efficiency and consistency across the team to hit forecasts and quota
- Progressive sales leadership experience, including previous experience as a top-performing AE at a high-growth start-up environment.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong team-building and mentoring skills, with experience managing AEs
- Strong data-driven decision-making ability, with a focus on using sales metrics to optimize strategies.
