Our client is a huge European telecommunications company. The Software Engineering team supports the entire organization, shaping and building software solutions to meet our customer’s expectations. In order to make our colleagues and customers even happier, we need to strengthen the team with a Senior Software Engineer.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multi-skilled, cross-border team where you’ll be able to contribute, learn, and grow, supporting a multi-national organization with demanding customers.

Areas of Responsibility

• Design, develop, and test functionality in existing and new systems
• Correct and test defects in existing systems and integrations
• Set up and configure new infrastructure environments when needed
• Ensure systems and integrations are well-tested before UAT
• Ensure your code and design are in line with our architecture and vision
• Demonstrate prototypes to business stakeholders
• Coach fellow team members
• Provide technology leadership

Qualifications

• Software development using Java 11+ , Spring Boot and Java EE (Jakarta EE)
• Modern integration technologies like REST or Graph QL
• System integration, mainly in CRM/Billing/Finance domains
• Strong background in system integration design and implementation
• Experience in master data management, event-driven integrations, data mapping, fault handling, message bus, etc.
• Using Linux and other open-source software (FOSS)
• One or more RDBMS and/or No SQL data stores
• Common tools and services like git, Github, Docker, bash
• Continuous delivery, automatic tests, and Dev Ops way of working
• Fluency in English

Will be an advantage

• Good knowledge of application scaling and high availability
• Experience with AWS (IAM, EKS, SNS, SQS) is beneficial
