We’re looking for a long-term contract Senior PHP Developer to help out our Inventions Team which is currently very small (1 US-based FTE Developer and 1 contracted offshore Developer).

Our industry-leading cloud-based research platform powers a suite of applications that maximizes researcher success, improves collaboration, and simplifies work across the entire research lifecycle including commercialization and tracking of research outcomes. Its global community includes academic institutions, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, hospitals and health systems, government agencies, independent research institutions, and non-profit organizations.

Responsibilities:
Help the Team with design and lead efforts
Support the current features and develop new ones
Perform code review
Perform bug fixing

Requirements:
Strong Knowledge of PHP
Experience with the Laravel PHP Framework (for building web applications)
Experience with Java Script
Result-oriented attitude and ability to learn quickly
be a good team player with great interpersonal skills
English level — Intermediate Strong or higher

Will be a plus:
Exposure to AWS
Exposure to Terraform
Exposure to Vue.js
Ability to help with team leading and solution designing activities
