Senior Python Engineer

Altamira service delivery teams currently span Slovakia, Ukraine, and the Middle East, and we have ambitions to expand our footprint to meet the growing demand across Europe and into our primary growth markets in the UK and the US.
- Experience: 3+ years in Python (Django, Flask, Fast API, async programming) and 2+ years with React (Java Script/Type Script).
- Web Standards: HTML5, CSS3, REST API.
- Databases: Proficient in RDBMS (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and No SQL (Mongo DB, Redis is a plus).
- Messaging Systems: Rabbit MQ, Kafka.
- Tools: Git, JIRA, Confluence, Agile (Azure Dev Ops preferred).
- English: B2 level or above.
- Knowledge of information security, energy markets, and quantitative methods.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Python-based solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code with unit/API tests.
- Participate in code reviews and support team improvement.
- Lead a team of 3-4 developers and share technical knowledge.
